Thanx Ronen. I had heard it once mentioned that the Hebrew scriptures have approximately 8000 words (roots), and once one learns the 8000, you are pretty good to go.... Not sure how many of the 10,000 from this list are scriptural, but I am guessing it has most of them.

Very true. It does contain modern words not found in Scripture. Perhaps this list, although not as long, might be better suited for those just wanting to stick to the words found Biblical Hebrew.
